I’ve never seen Stonehenge, but this is a great, mysterious image of it that evokes its tremendous antiquity. Try writing something about this view this week.

    Whenever I see an image of Stonehenge, I wonder why this is the only megalithic structure that people think about. It’s the most famous, and it may be one of the older, larger, and possibly more intact megalithic monuments, but it is by no means the only one!
    Next time you want to write about Stonehenge (and it being a tourist attraction isn’t vital), I dare you to look up some of the other megalithic structures and consider one of the lesser-known ones — maybe one not in England, maybe even outside of Europe. If the story takes place the past few hundred years, couldn’t it even be more mysterious and intriguing to use a site so few people know about?

    heheh – i was just there not to long ago, got lots of pictures – wish i couldve gotten inside the circle…

    and yeah- its not the only megalith thing… i think the Easter Island faces count, which i also want to see :)
